This accessibility statement applies to the Highclere Parish Council Website – https://www.highclerepc.uk/

Contacting us by phone or visiting us in person
We are unable to provide a text relay service for people who are deaf, hearing impaired or have a speech impediment. The Council Office does not have audio induction loops.
We are based at the Highclere Village Hall members of staff or councillors can meet visitors in the ground floor meeting rooms or reception area of by appointment.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. For example, we do not plan to fix meeting agendas or minutes for meetings which were published prior to 23 September 2018.
Live video
We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting accessibility regulations.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility

Training is provided to ensure all new content meets accessibility criteria.

Internal processes are in place to check the website regularly as content changes.

We aim to carry out a quarterly reports to identify accessibility issues which will then be addressed.
