Highclere Parish Council plays an active part in all local planning issues
It is probably the area of the Council's role that is best known to the community and which can be of the most importance.
All planning applications are posted online by the Local Planning Authority, Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council and can easily be searched for on that website by keyword, reference number, postcode or a single line of an address.
Current planning applications for this parish can also be viewed by clicking the Planning Finder. The Planning Finder is a central facility provided to Parish Council websites, which is driven by postcode (if one has been included in the planning application).

Highclere Parish Council has a Planning Working Party
The Planning Working Party considers all new applications (see Planning Protocol attachment, at the bottom of this page for details). Applications are placed on the Agenda and responses are confirmed in the Minutes.
Any planning applications of key interest to the Parish will be highlighted on the News page of this website - and if you have subscribed to this site you will get an email notification of any news items added to our site..
